As part of our research for the Lawson Park Library we hosted a cooking event at the local library in Coniston, a much under-used public resource. It was one way of trying out ideas for a social use of libraries, using and showcasing books from the collection in an informal setting. During the event different potato dishes were avaiable for tasting alongside cooking demonstrations from guestroom, the director of Grizedale Arts Adam Sutherland and artist Lasse Johansson.
