is a series of works conceived for the front windows at guestroom and a disused billboard around the corner.
during the first episode of the project between October 2007 and July 2008 we asked 6 artists to introduce their site-specific installation with a one-off event in the space, experimenting with live aspects or the context of their practice. passerby as a series was conceived to explore work between the studio as production space and an intimate public venue in a form that would allow artists to take risks and try out new or unexplored aspects of their practice. the different use of such a specific venue has been documented in a small publication published by guestroom.
