kingdom was an investigation into the ideas of journey and location.
initially conceived as a mail art project, based on the idea of wunderkammer and miniature museum, we sent out collection boxes to be filled with monthly installments over the course of a year, each mail out contributing to the constitution of a place unknown or imagined in the privacy of a home. Kingdom was mailed in 2006 and 2007 in an edition of 44.
