our interest in reading circles started with an informal bookgroup we organised in our studio during 2007. much like a traditional reading group we chose titles and texts according to suggestions from the group, sometimes in conjunction with presentations from individual members. meetings were informal but open to the public and culminated in a discussion with London-based writer Tom McCarthy about his acclaimed book Remainder and a screening of Dennis Hopper's The Last Movie.
