Lawson Park Library is a purpose-built library commissioned by Grizedale Arts for their new headquarters at Lawson Park Farm in The Lake District.

The library has been conceived to reflect the ethos and process of Grizedale Arts
in adapting the programmes it runs as its system of categorisation. Books, films and ephemera are clustered around themes and ideas connected to specific exhibition projects, including research and reference materials, artists’ projects and documentation. The library is an evolving archive and framework for Grizedale Arts, but also a document of the creative process and the formation of ideas.

Guestroom’s own collection Ways of Living forms the external category housed within the library.
